Welcome to August.
Today is a triple hit!
Not only is it day one of our grounding, earthing and pure connection mission, it is a full moon and the festival of Lughnasadh too!
So today is all about utilising the energy for meeting the rigours of the month ahead.
We are beginning to celebrate the gaining of the harvest of what we sowed in Spring. This is both metaphorical and physical.
Any celebration that is true to its genre has food at the very heart of it.
The following is a traditional Lughnasadh menu that I urge you to make yourself.

2 eggs
590 g/2 cups buttermilk

Berry Parfait
Just layer strawberries then whipped cream, blueberries then whipped cream then raspberries and whipped cream.
Before you eat connect with your food. Then connect with your wider environment. Then connect with the energy in the skies. Then connect with the energy in the far Solar System. Then connect with the ever increasing universe. Then bring that connection back into you. How have you appreciated yourself this year so far? What do you need to notice about your value?
We are looking to inspire a connection with what is to come in August, a connection with the energy requirements for completing the month, as well as inspiring a connection with energy larger than yourself.
So think about how you connect and what you need to know about all your connections.
If you are using the journal or sheets please make a note of all that you need to know and I will see you tomorrow for Day Two.
Nothing is ever lost as time passes, it merely metamorphoses into something as wonderful or, in some cases, into something even better than before
Lovely start to Day One
