As previously written August is going to be a verily grounding and earthing time on this substack.
Everyday you will be given the tools to be able to connect with yourself, with your environment, with others and with all that will support your wellness.
The aim of the month will be to -
Reduce fatigue and increased energy
Reduce chronic pain
Reduce inflammation
Faster recovery from exercise
Enhance/elevate mood
Reduce blood pressure and hypertension
Support heart health
Improve Sleep Quality
I wanted to give you a heads up on what you need to have throughout the month. There will be various props to the grounding that you may find useful to have prior to the 1st August.
They are -
Essential oils - any but if you are buying specially then frankincense/myrrh would be fantastc
A candle to gaze at
A pot plant
Salt, if possible himalayan, but any quality salt will do
A book to journal in
Day One is going to be a celebration for which I am encouraging you to try some recipes. if this tickles your fancy this is what you will need to get.
Ingredients:
2 eggs
590 g/2 cups buttermilk
3 tbsp. butter/shortening/vegan block, melted
salt
590 g/2 1/2 cups cornmeal
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2.25l water
500 g beef soup bone with the meat on or any beef substitute
120g/ 1/2 cup celery tops
Pepper
120g/ 1/2 cup uncooked barley
600g/ 3 cups coursely chopped cabbage
200g/ 1 cup sliced celery
400g/ 2 cups sliced parsnips
400g/ 2 cups thinly slice onions
1 can 12 oz. chopped tomato paste
Strawberries
Blueberries
Whipped Cream
