Happy Baby Pose (Ananda Balasana)
This pose is a playful and joyful way to stretch your hips and lower back. Here’s how to do it:
Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor.
Exhale and bring your knees up toward your chest.
Inhale and grab the outsides of your feet with your hands.
Open your knees slightly wider than your torso and bring them up toward your armpits.
Flex your feet and press your heels up toward the ceiling.
Gently rock from side to side, massaging your lower back and hips.
Hold the pose for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Release the pose by letting go of your feet and hugging your knees to your chest.
