I have been pondering a lot and some of this has been about how to impart more of my neuro-wisdom (of which I have a lot) in different formats.
I am a great believer in beauty as it has a profound impact on our well-being and overall quality of life.
Here are some ways beauty enhances our lives:
Emotional Uplift: Aesthetic experiences—whether from art, nature, or music—make us happier. They evoke emotions like fascination, awe, and admiration, improving our mood and indirectly promoting health.
Stress Reduction: Connecting with beauty relieves stress and restores optimism. Gratitude for the beauty around us reduces anxiety and enhances well-being.
Social Connection: Perceived beauty enhances our perceived social and intellectual competence. It fosters trust and empathy in relationships.
Inner Peace: Beauty transcends aesthetics, calming our minds and nurturing our souls. Embracing beauty brings joy and wonder to our lives.
In essence, beauty enriches our existence, moving us beyond survival to thriving!
So as we are (in the Northern Hemisphere) embracing summer with aspects of beauty all around us, what better way to utilise this than combining the time with a new approach to creating a better (and kinder) world by using and improving your own brain mechanisms.
I have created a beautiful brain programme:
Dr Rachel’s Neuronuggets which will run from the 1st July until the 31st August.
The aims are as follows -
Awareness: Raise awareness about the importance of brain health and its impact on overall well-being.
Empower: Equip you with practical knowledge and strategies to enhance brain health.
Inspire: Encourage all to adopt brain-friendly habits for long-term benefits.
I have designed a beautiful Neuronuggets Notebook to enhance your experience of this programme. This is available for all who are paid subscribers.
If you are not already a paid subscriber there is a special offer which is active until 8th July that is 20% off subscription fees.
This means for less than 2 cups of coffee you get all the workbooks and additional information for all my writing.
The programme will comprise of the following -
Week One: Survive to Thrive
Week Two: Motivation and Reward
Week Three: Focus and Attention
Week Four: Emotional Regulation
Week Five: Theory of Mind
Week Six: Creativity and Innovation
Week Seven: The Art of Nothingness
Week Eight: Real Resilience
Week Nine: Continuing to look at your reflection
Each week will have all the neuronuggets of knowledge that you need to understand, measure and improve that particular brain mechanism that will in turn improve your health, wellbeing and life in general.
If you have the notebook you will have all you need to note, journal and notice what is going on, how you are improving and what is of particular importance to you.
If you do not have the neuronugget notebook then I urge you to get something that you can write in to take full advantage of what is on offer.
If you have any questions or queries then please let me know and I will answer them all.
Remember you have until the 8th July to take advantage of the offer but the programme itself will begin 1st July.
Lose your mind and create a new one
