For us in the Northern Hemisphere today represents the longest night and for those of you in the Southern Hempispere it is your longest day.
So today I want to encourage all of you to understand the importance of the light.
Get outside and enjoy at least ten minutes of direct light. This helps your serotonin levels which will support your sleep later on.
Then I would like you to choose one of the following to do -
108 Sun Salutations - 108 is a sacred number that symbolises humanity. I know it is a lot but get in the swing and the time will soon go!
Write a list of 9 things that no longer serve you and burn whilst setting the intention of letting them go.
Light a candle and visualise all the people that you love, fill them with all the light that you can and wish them well for the rest of the season.
As the sun sets on the shortest day or as the sun rises after the longest day think of all of the other humans that also are under that very same sun.
We are just over two thirds the way through the month. How is your spirit of bonhomie? Be sure to fill in your journal and keep notes of how you are feeling.
“The world is quiet here.”
