So today marks day 31 of Squatober.
You will be today squatting 155 times.
Over the month if you have been consistent you will have completed
over 1500 squats.
That is a lot of squats.
You will have new healthy brain cells.
You will have increased blood flow to your prefrontal cortex.
You have proven that you can consistently complete a challenge that supports you brain and body connection.
You are amazing!
How will you celebrate your achievement?
It needs to be done.
Thank you so much for doing Squatober.
I appreciate you wanting to create a better and healthier brain, in particular your prefrontal cortex. It is my favouritist of favourite parts of the brain.
It makes you you. It makes us all human.
“People of our time are losing the power of celebration. Instead of celebrating we seek to be amused or entertained. Celebration is an active state, an act of expressing reverence or appreciation. To be entertained is a passive state--it is to receive pleasure afforded by an amusing act or a spectacle.... Celebration is a confrontation, giving attention to the transcendent meaning of one's actions.
I made it and it felt good!! It was hard... consistency the hardest thing in this challenge.
I am going to celebrate over weekend!!
