Vitality and Mental Toughness:
Thriving encompasses vitality, mental toughness, and focus. It’s not just about surviving; it’s about flourishing and feeling fulfilled.
Mental toughness is one of my favourite traits.
It is about doing just one more burpee when your brain is screaming ‘NO!’
It is about getting your head down and grinding out that report when your focus wants to be distracted by shinier things.
It is about celebrating your wins (however small) and not indulging the losses (however large).
It is about saying I am finishing it even when you already feel finished.
Take small steps to train your brain to be tougher. Every day just go that bit further, that bit more.
Also, it is knowing when to say no, when you are programmed to say yes.
That needs its own special version of mental toughness.
Always remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think
