Attention and focus seem to be casualties of the 21st Century. Everyday it seems to get tougher and tougher to keep attention and get things into focus.
There is a proposal that the main source of distraction is the mind wandering.
I completely understand the attractiveness of this.
There is not much that is positive to focus on outside of ourselves at times.
Today I would like you to pay attention to how you are ‘being’ not what you are ‘doing’.
This is as simple as checking in with yourself, stopping that mind wander and assessing how you are being at that moment in time.
Make this a regular habit and you will tune out distractions and support your ability to maintain attention.
“While nature is free for all to roam, it costs only your attention.”
