Why is figuring out what you want to give up to achieve what you want sometimes so hard? Is it because what you think you want isn't really what you want??

The good old brain just loves familiarity and as it s job is to keep you alive it will use previous patterns as a basis for what keeps you alive (even if its not ultimately good for you!) It can also be that you may not really want it (deep down!) so here are a few questions that could help you out!

1) What am I amining for?

2) Why is this important to me?

3) What are the potential barriers?

4) What will it feel like to achieve this?

5) What can I do today to step forward into my aim?

6) How will I be accountable, how much do I really want this?

Hope they help! :-)

Thanks Dr Rach- I've put that list on my wall of inspiration to remind myself - it all links back to what may be possible if I opened my bias into opportunity. I have my wall of inspiration but don't read it daily- adding to the list made me go back so for number 5, I will devote the first 15 minutes of my work day to reading/wellness and I will put it in my diary so it doesn't get missed. :)

That is a great commitment to achieve Lisa! I think start of the day is always good whilst the energy levels are higher in the prefrontal cortex! :-)
