Happy belated birthday- I did listen to the kill them with kindness song- didn't like the tune but got the sentiment in the words- almost bopped my head but didn't quite make it !!

love that Lisa - yes the tune is quite intense... think they used it on peaky blinders at one point, which explains its gritiness! The sentiment grew on me... would rather kill with kindness than toxicity... if I was going to kill at all ha ha ha

Thanks for this post and I know how powerful music has always been for me. When I was severely depressed I sat in silence alone at home for months, then decided to start playing music. I had a cable channel that played nothing but soft rock songs I knew and loved with no commercials. I had it on in the background all day and felt so much better!

I also watched some concert DVDs of my lifelong favorite musician, Bruce Springsteen, and sometimes sang along and on rare occasions actually got up and danced. A simple, easy mood boost that made a huge difference.

I listed “play music” as the first of five simple things that lifted my mood in this article: https://medium.com/@gordonwendi1/5-quick-and-easy-ways-to-boost-your-spirits-963e3c484837?sk=e2a27622ce4cd39e065adbdc086fd996
