I’m very glad that this issue is being raised in the House of Commons now. But am also concerned that the level of media attention being showed to these arguments, and the accompanying evidence seems to be far less than the coverage given to the message that it was vitally important to follow all the prescribed measures, as the only way to protect yourself and those around you. This in itself seems perhaps to be an attempt to preserve a narrative that should absolutely not be beyond challenge. Especially when certain individuals and institutions had so much to gain, personally and financially, from decisions that had an enormous impact on the lives of average people.

However people felt about the measures at the time, they have had lasting consequences that must now be addressed. I hope people realise the futility of the aggression and hostility they have shown towards one another, especially in light of the emerging evidence around the efficacy of decisions made around the pandemic, and that we never see such widespread dehumanisation of people again.

Thank you for speaking out now and all along. Where are the others? What is needed to get those that should be speaking out to add their voice. How many people will share this post? The video of the MP speaking etc.

I agree completely everyone needs to make the right decisions for them, that’s the point of informed consent. Two people in similar situations will weigh up risk and benefit and come to entirely different decisions, but what has happened is not informed consent.

I think most people are familiar with healthy vs junk food but how many think about the fear and junk media and messaging they are exposed to constantly…

I truly believe that the assault on the limbic system is something that not many people realise has happened. It is insidious and is not a new thing. It has just been completely ramped up and I really want people to be who they want to be and behave how they want because THEY CHOOSE to not because someone has put that idea in their head.

You can be a complete idiot or a complete angel, I really do not care as long as you own it and take responsibility for it. I would much rather an authentic fool than forced 'be kind'.

I also noted those who were there were on phones or practically falling asleep!!

And is it true the speaker rebuffed his comments without a review of evidence he presented? And the PM says they safe.

Please keep highlighting these things but also a reminder of what happened, how it affected you but also us in our brains and then what to do to create the new or rewire

It is the behaviour that is not ok. People are entitled to their own opinion and autonomy over their body without being subjected to harassment and intimidation. As I replied to an earlier comment it is ok to have differing opinions as long as it’s done respectfully and kindly. I have had an unsubscribe over this post which I think extremely sad as it really shows the extent of damage done. My words were factual both of experience and influence. Perhaps that’s too difficult to read.

On a slightly different note- how can the House be so empty? Where are all the MP's???

I guess the majority did not want to hear what he had to say. Despite his speech being full of data and information. It is sad. Especially when it affects every single person in society.

I am going to quote directly from him as I think we all need to 'Break the conspiracy of silence.' There needs to be huge amounts of compassion here in this situation I believe. For everyone who was led to believe that we needed to be a certain way.

Wow Dr Rach :) well I haven't listened to the MP yet but I will do later today. I don't agree with everything you have said but I totally respect you and I'm sorry that you were treated badly by people who didn't share your views. I do believe ( and I would think that most people agree) that the pharma companies are out for themselves- the oxycotin /heroin crisis in the US is a stark example. I agree people took on a whole new attitude/personality whatever during the pandemic and some of it was truly scary. I'm also glad you ended on a positive because we need your positivity!! Human beings are wired for joy, for connection, for creativity. Not pain, suffering and unwellness. - stolen from you with pride :)

Aw Lisa, thank you so much. I agree, we do not need to agree on everything as the bit in the middle where we come together is where the magic happens! I really work hard to help people be as human and amazing as possible. That is my mission. I want everyone to be able to have autonomy and understanding how to take ownership and self-responsibiliy for themselves. I appreciate your comments and support so much. Thank you :-)

We need to all work together to bring humanity together. Less division, less hate, less vitriol, less harshness.

More joy, more connection, more hugs and more tolerance.
