Hey Dr Rachel, I read your article and I cant see any reason why it should be removed. its quite strange to me? I thought that maybe it was too scientific? It cant be because you said you were worried about the guys mental health.. I actually like The Guardian generally but now I wonder.....?? Anyway hope you're okay and not too disheartened by the negativity. L.

It has moved me to dedicate season three of the podcast to all things positive! I have started recording this morning and am very excited to be the counterculture in all of this!

While I understand the desire to make people aware of concerning events, I agree that more frequently writing articles on positive developments would be beneficial to the mental health of the readers. If articles consistently reflect the deterioration of the health, well-being and circumstances of society, the material in itself can be detrimental to peoples psychological well-being and the cycle can become self propagating

What the majority of people don’t really know is that negativity causes the physical body to become inflamed which then enables more disease and unwellness that cannot be merely diagnosed as “in the head”.

I was ever so concerned for his mental health.. I actually am as it is pure doom and gloom constantly.. I am struggling to see where I was offensive.. however I must have been ;-)

I guess you’re not in the community when you question ideas of shared media. Remember, there’s always a choice of what can be shared and so they want us to feel a certain way and if you’re against it then why would they want you to be heard?? Being negative all the time is so draining and I am realising we never ever focus on the positives anymore. I am really loving your work and how to focus on me and my wellness and appreciate what my mind and body can do. Forever thankful for you!
